Terms of Service Article 1. Purpose These Terms set out the conditions for using Mekong Korea, including community boards, secondhand trade, room information, job posts, local information, location-based convenience features, and related services. They also define the rights, duties, and responsibilities between the service and members. Article 2. Definitions “Service” means the online community and related functions provided through websites, mobile web, and other online environments. “Member” means a person who agrees to these Terms and completes registration. “Content” includes posts, comments, photos, location information, trade information, job information, profile information, and other data submitted by members. “Direct transaction” means a transaction made directly between members. “Job post” means information related to hiring, recruitment, work offers, or job seeking. Article 3. Effect and Changes These Terms apply to members who agree during registration. The service may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law and will announce important changes in the service. Continued use after changes may be considered acceptance of the changed Terms. Article 4. Registration Registration is completed when a user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and follows the registration process. Members must provide accurate information, including an email address they can manage. Registration may be refused or restricted for false information, use of another person’s information, intent to disrupt the service, unlawful purposes, or prior serious violations. Article 5. Account Management Members are responsible for managing their account and password. Accounts may not be transferred, lent, or shared. If a member notices unauthorized use, they must notify the service promptly. Members should update changed information without delay. Article 6. Services Provided The service may provide community boards, secondhand item posting and browsing, room information, job information, country and region-based boards, location-based convenience features, and other added functions. The service may change, suspend, or terminate part or all of the service for operational or technical reasons. Article 7. Content and Responsibility Members must comply with laws and these Terms when posting content. The member who posts content is responsible for its content, accuracy, legality, and reliability. The service may not review content in advance, but may review, hide, delete, request edits, or restrict accounts if violations are suspected. Article 8. Prohibited Acts Members must not infringe others’ rights, post false listings or false job information, post scam or exaggerated information, encourage illegal trade or illegal hiring, use abusive language, threats, discrimination, hate speech, sexual content, violent expressions, spam, repeated posting, malware, excessive advertising, or any activity against law or public order. Article 9. Direct Transactions Secondhand trade, room transactions, and service transactions are made directly between members. The service is not a party to the transaction and does not guarantee items, room information, prices, descriptions, photos, ownership, availability, identity, or payment ability. Members must check transaction details by themselves. Article 10. Job Board Notice The job board is a place where members or businesses may post job and job-seeking information. The service does not guarantee work conditions, visa eligibility, payment, work environment, or formation of employment. Members must check their visa status, work eligibility, pay, duties, housing, meals, and contract form by themselves. Article 11. Location-Based Features The service may provide features based on current location or selected region. These features are provided only with consent, and members may withdraw consent or stop using them at any time. Location information is used only as needed for service features such as local search and nearby posts. Article 12. Reports and Restrictions Members may report content or actions that violate these Terms, policies, or law. The service may review reports and take measures such as hiding content, deleting content, restricting accounts, or limiting membership. Article 13. Withdrawal and Loss of Membership Members may request withdrawal at any time. The service may restrict or terminate membership if a member violates these Terms or seriously disrupts operation. Some information may be retained for a period required by law or the Privacy Policy. Article 14. Limitation of Liability The service is not responsible for failure caused by events outside reasonable control, such as disasters, system failures, hacking, or user fault. The service is not responsible for disputes, transactions, employment, contracts, or damages between members or third parties unless caused by intentional or gross negligence of the service. Article 15. Intellectual Property Intellectual property rights in the service belong to the service or rightful owners. Members retain rights and responsibility for their content, but grant the service a non-exclusive right to use content as necessary for operation, promotion, improvement, and display optimization. Article 16. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties will try to resolve disputes in good faith, and unresolved disputes may be handled by the competent court under applicable law. Supplement These Terms take effect when posted in the service.
